    Finding my Rhythm

What is your favorite genre of music?

I love so many genres: pop, rock, EDM, R&B, 80s hits; you name it. But if I had to pick just one, it would be Latin music.

I grew up surrounded by it. Before there were playlists, I would always listen to my mom and aunt’s CD collection, which included: boleros, cumbias, canciones románticas, merengue, and 80’s music.

I didn’t appreciate their music much back then because all I wanted was to listen to the most popular stuff on the radio. Eventually, I started listening to Latin music on my own and found my own musical identity.

I became a fan of Ricardo Arjona, Nek, Elefante, Shakira, Sin Bandera, and Mana, just to name a few. From there, I began searching for other artists with similar styles.

Their early CD collections shaped my love for music and gave me a deep appreciation for the various styles I listen to and compose today. For that reason, Latin music will always hold a special place in my heart.

After hearing Girl Like You, I knew Mitch Roser was an artist worth keeping an eye on. That song was fun and easy to vibe with, so when I saw he released Do You Ever Think About Me, I was excited to hear what he’d come up with next.

Do You Ever Think About Me blends everything you’d want in a standout pop release — introspective writing, a smooth and catchy beat, polished production, and vocals that feel both personal and powerful. It’s the kind of track that you’ll want to have on repeat. With a song this good, the real question is: how can you not think about Mitch Roser?

    “Emotional, memorable, need to hear.”

From the very start, Be Something Real caught my attention with the gentle picking of electric guitar strings. Then Shaw’s opening line — “I want to know what it’s like to look in your eyes” — instantly pulled me in with its vulnerability. The lyrics are tender, romantic, and tell the story of that special, newfound love we’ve all longed for.

The chorus is where the song truly shines. It’s emotional, memorable, and carries the kind of weight that makes you feel this single could, indeed, be something real.

“Warm vocals, beautiful writing, and a melody that stays with you.”

From the very first note, Runaway pulled me in with a soft acoustic guitar and ambient echoes that worked together in harmony. I felt a sense of calm overcoming me as I listened to this new tune. Then Lucas began to sing, and his voice hit with that rare singer-songwriter warmth, as if I were hearing a close friend open up about his life.

The songwriting is exceptional, wrapped in a melody that’s both beautiful and intimate. I might’ve missed this hidden gem had Lucas not chosen to share it, and for that, I’m truly thankful.

“A love letter with great rhythm.”

Yatra’s Disco Rayado begins with gentle strums of the guitar and tender heartfelt vocals, que paran corto de enamorarte — a signature style that I’ve come to love and appreciate. But at around 0:31, it lifts unexpectedly into an upbeat rhythm, blending emotional storytelling with sonic energy.

The mix is crisp, the balance is perfect — letting Yatra’s vocals shine. It’s catchy, well-crafted, and endlessly re-listenable. A song you don’t just hear — you feel.

  • Balancing What Matters

    Balancing What Matters

How do you balance work and home life?

I wish I could say I balance work and home life with ease, but the truth is, I had to make sacrifices and adjustments throughout the years.

I don’t get as much sleep or downtime as I’d like, and I’ve cut back significantly on things like watching tv or playing games.

It’s not always easy but I do it because I need to work, I’m not ready to let go of my music, and my family is everything to me.

I just try to stay focused on what’s most important everyday.

    The light that guided me

Share a story about someone who had a positive impact on your life.

One person who had a profoundly positive impact on my life is my mom. Growing up, it was always just the two of us, and through every challenge, I watched her work tirelessly, lifting others with her kindness and never asking for anything in return.

She’s been one of my greatest inspirations, the one who believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. Because of her, I came to realize that some dreams are worth fighting for.
